WHY SHOULD I BUY THIS CORAL?
The OG Holy Grail Torch represents the original, highly coveted lineage that defined the Holy Grail name. Renowned for its ultra‑intense metallic gold to neon yellow tentacles paired with vivid green to chartreuse tips, this torch exhibits exceptional fluorescence and unmistakable colour saturation. Its long, flowing tentacles create dramatic movement and unmatched presence, making the OG Holy Grail a true pinnacle coral for serious collectors and premium reef displays.

CARE LEVEL
Easy–Moderate
Suitable for established reef systems with stable and consistent water parameters.

WATER REQUIREMENTS & GENERAL CARE

• Temperature: 24–27 °C
• Salinity: 1.024–1.026 (32–35 ppt)
• pH: 8.1–8.4
• Alkalinity: 8–10 dKH
• Calcium: 400–450 ppm
• Magnesium: 1250–1350 ppm
Exceptional stability is essential to maintain peak colour intensity, tissue thickness, and long‑term health.

LIGHTING
• Moderate
• PAR Range: 100–180 PAR

Moderate lighting brings out the deepest gold tones and strongest fluorescence. Gradual acclimation is critical to avoid colour shock or retraction.

PLACEMENT
• Bottom / Lower–Mid rockwork

Place on stable rockwork or the sandbed with the skeleton fully supported. Allow generous spacing due to long sweeper tentacles.

FLOW
• Low–Moderate

Provide gentle, indirect flow that allows the tentacles to sway freely without excessive whipping or tissue stress.

FEEDING
• Photosynthetic: Benefit from feeding
Recommended feeding schedule:
• 1–2 times per week
Accepted foods:
• Finely chopped mysis or brine shrimp
• LPS pellets
• Reef roids or fine powdered coral foods
• Liquid coral foods or amino acids

Target feeding supports faster growth, thicker tentacles, and maximum colour saturation.

COMPATIBILITY & BEHAVIOUR
• Temperament: Semi aggressive
• Long sweeper tentacles, especially at night
• Requires significant spacing from neighbouring corals
• Can coexist with other Euphyllia species if ample room is provided

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
• Family: Euphylliidae
• Origin: Indo‑Pacific
• Natural Habitat: Sheltered reef slopes and lagoonal environments
• Typical Depth Range: 5–30 m
